The Firm
Kennedy-Grant was established in December 1988, in Bernardsville, New Jersey.
One of our specialties is additions to and alterations of existing structures,
and we are particularly adept at working with historic buildings.
While the practice includes residential, commercial, and institutional
projects, our forté is how we work with people, not simply skill in a particular
building type.
Kennedy-Grant projects are innately ecological, as they incorporate
traditional materials such as stone, brick, clapboard, slate, and copper. The
firm is skilled and practiced in the art of construction technology.
Our design ideas are not only handsome, they are practical. We seek to have
our buildings constructed according to the highest level of craftsmanship, and
we know how to make the details work.
We are committed to the idea of continuous education, both artistically and
technically. We are active members of the American Institute of Architects, the
Congress for New Urbanism, and the Institute for Classical Architecture and
Classical America.
